BIG NEWS!!!

Hello!

Like a week ago my best friend decided to join "The Lifeaholic". I thought it was a great idea and we decided to build a new webpage to improve "The Lifeaholic". I've been creating the blog and exporting all the posts I already wrote. There's still things to change but we can officially show you the new blog and tell you about it.

What will be new in "The Lifeaholics"? My friend Erika is going to post a lot about fashion, her biggest hobby. And we are going to tell you about our trips around the world showing you pictures and videos. All the other topics like Makeup, Nails or Tips and Tricks that you've already read in this blog are going to stay the same (or better). 

I'm sooo excited to finally tell you the big news...I was really wanting to tell you all but we agreed to finish the website before I would tell you anything!

So, I hope you like the change and you follow me there as you did here! Let me know what you thing on my new blog!!

Hace una semana más o menos mi mejor amiga decidió unirse a "The Lifeaholic". Pensé que era una genial idea y decidimos construir una nueva página web para mejorar "The Lifeaholic". He estado creando este blog y exportando los posts que ya había escrito aquí. Aun hay cosas que queremos cambiar pero por lo menos ya podemos enseñaros oficialmente el blog y contaros sobre él.

¿Qué será nuevo en "The Lifeaholics"? My amiga Erika escribirá sobre moda, su mayor hobby. Ya veréis que os encantará su estilo y sus ideas. También queremos esnseñaros lo que hagamos en nuestros viajes con fotos y videos. En lo que se refiere a los temas como Maquillaje, Uñas o Tips and Tricks que ya habéis leido, se mantendrá igual (o mejor).

Estoy muy ilusionada de finalmente contaros las buenas noticias...De verdad queria contaros todo pero Erika y yo decidimos no decir nada hasta que la página estuviera terminada.

Carnival: Arabic Makeup #1

Hello!

I thought I would do some fun looks for those who celebrate carnival. Since my mum is German, I always celebrated carnival and I always had a lot of fun dressing myself up. I also loooove arabic makeup, I think it's vet pretty and sexy. This was also an excuse for filling in my brows! I never never fill in my brows because they look too harsh with my blond hair, but I love how it looks on other people.

To archive that sharp eyeliner I used tape before I started my makeup and I took it off at the end. Then I emphasized the line with NYX Jumpo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk.

I didn't came up with this makeup, I saw it somewhere (don't know where, sorry) so I can't take all the credit for it.

He pensado en hacer algunos maquillajes divertidos para carnaval. Como mi madre es alemana, siempre he celebrado el carnaval y siempre me lo he pasado genial disfrazándome. Además me encanta en maquillaje árabe me parece muy bonito y sexy.  Esto fue también una excusa para rellenar mis cejas. Nunca, nunca me las pinto porque queda demasiado marcado con mi pelo rubio, pero me encanta cómo le queda a otras personas.

Para conseguir un eyeliner tan "cortante" me pegue celo antes de empezar el maquillaje y me lo quité al final. Luego lo enfaticé con NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil en color Milk.

Este look no me lo he "inventado" yo, vi la imagen en algún sitio (no sé dónde, sorry) así que no puedo llevarme todo el mérito por él.

I recently got my Sleek Original Palette and I'm doing a few makeup looks to tray the color out. This is the first combination I did, greens and blues. The eye shadows are so pretty and well pigmented...! I really love them, to read my review click here!

This manicure is one of my favorites because I love leopard print and I think it looks so cool over pink nail polish. The base color I used is Essence Most Wanted, the image plate is Konad M57 stamped with Konad Special Nail Polish in black. The darker pink I used to fill in some leopard stains is Bourjois 13.

Esta manicura es una de mis favoritas porque me encanta el estampado de leopardo y pienso que queda genial sobre pintauñas rosa. El color de base que he utilizado es Essence Most Wanted, el plato de imágenes es el M57 de Konad estampado con Konad Special Nail Polish en negro. El rosa más oscuro que he usado para rellenar algunas manchas de leopardo es el Bourjois 13.

Review and Swatches: Sleek Storm Palette

Hello! 

Today I'm going to show you the second palette I got from Sleek, the Storm Palette. If you want to know what I think of the eyeshadows, the packaging and so on, check out the Original Palette Review I did clicking here.

I think the color selection of the Storm Palette is great because you get a first row of neutral light colors and a second row of dark colors. You can do wearable daytime looks and smokey dark looks for the night. If I had to choose one of the two Sleek palettes that I own for a trip I would definitely choose this one because of the versatility. I love that the palette includes three basic matte eyeshadows (black, light brown and medium brown)

Hoy os voy a enseñar la segunda paleta que compré de Sleek, la Paleta Storm. Si quieres saber lo que pienso de las sombras, la presentación etcétera, mira el review que hice sobre la Paleta Original clickeando aquí.

Pienso que la selección de colores de la Paleta Storm es genial, ya que obtienes una primera fila de colores neutros para el día y una segunda fila de colores oscuros para looks ahumados para la noche. Si tuviera que elegir una de las dos paletas de Sleek que tengo para un viaje elegiría la Storm por lo versátil que es. Me encanta que la paleta tenga tres sombras mates básicas (negro, marrón claro y marrón medio).
