Tips and Tricks: Glitter Nail Polish Removal

A lot of you may know this method, it's not something I came up with, but I'll share it with you anyway. We all know how hard it is to remove glitter nail polish, before I knew this method I used to scrub my nails with the botton pad for a very long time till I got the nail polish off. This method is a little bit awkward but it's very clean and simple.

Seguro que muchos de vosotros ya conocéis este método, no es algo que yo me haya inventado, pero quería compartirlo con vosotros igualmente. Todos sabemos lo difícil que es quitarse pintauñas con purpurina, antes de conocer este método me raspaba las uñas con el algodón durante mucho rato hasta que conseguía retirar todo el pintauñas. Este método es un poco raro, pero es muy limpio y sencillo.

You will need:                                                                   Vas a necesitar:

- Cotton balls: one for each finger                                   - Bolas de algodón: una para cada dedo

- Acetone based nail polish remover                               - Quitaesmaltes (acetona)

- Aluminium foil                                                            - Papel de aluminio

Step 1: Take the cotton ball soak it in nail polish removal. Lay the cotton ball with the wet side down on your nail.

Paso 1: Empapa el algodón en acetona. Coloca el algodón con la parte húmeda sobre tu uña.

                                

Step 2: Wrap the whole finger with the cotton ball in foil and squeeze as tight as you can. Repeat this step for all the nails.

Paso 2: Envuelve el dedo con el algodón con el papel de aluminio y aprieta todo lo fuerte que puedas. Repite este paso con todas las uñas.

                                 

Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes. Remove the foil with one last good squeeze and a twisting motion.

Paso 3: Espera 5 minutos. Retira el papel de aluminio con un último buen apretón retorciendo el algodón.

That's the final result: no glitter!

Este es el resultado final: ¡ni rastro  de purpurina!
